I popped into Marshalls this past weekend to pick up some nautical rope netting for the tiki bar project. Noticed a whole passel of midcentury modern style ceramic planters on wood stands. Very inexpensive. Look like they… used Kate’s design for those wooden-dowel stands!
Very perky cute. Not really “midcentury modern” — rather, retro-modern aka retro-contemporary. Back in the day, midcentury modernists would have had simpler pots, ala Gainey or Lagardo Tackett / Architectural Pottery.
Look among the mess, and there may be more designs.
Midcentury-inspired designs: Everywhere I look, interpreted all kinds of ways.
