Atomic starburst cabinet pulls — solid brass — from Schaub

I have a story coming up (Liz and Dave’s gut-remodel bathroom) and they used these wonderful atomic starburst cabinet knobs. There are three colorways, but this polished nickel would be most appropriate for a midcentury modern or midcentury modest house.

There is one other atomic star cabinet knob escutcheon on the market that I know of. But, the escutcheon (backplate) is stamped metal — thinner and more lightweight — and the design is “just” a star, not a starburst.

Sneak peek of Liz and Dave’s new bathroom including how they used the Schaub starburst pulls

In contrast, this new design — from Schaub — is solid poured brass, and the starburst escutcheon is super starburst-y.

When it comes to cabinet pulls and knobs, I recommend getting the best “hand feel” you can afford. That is, every time you pull on the knob does it feel like… quality. I imagine these do.

Available from Amazon and other retailers. I earn a wee bit o’ commission when you click and buy from Amazon.

Great find, Liz and Dave!
